newest words

I forgot to say in the last post that when Carlee does the sign for duck (quacking movement with your hand,) she'll say, "dugkdugkdugkdug" over and over, LOL. Anywho, what reminded me to tell ya'll was that last night she decided what her next word was going to be... Anyone want to take a guess? ah... well... it was.... spongebob. Yeah.. ... ... .. LMAO. She was dragging around her big Spongebob pillow thing, and I said, "Do you have Spongebob?" and she answered with her version: spubaw. It was the cutest thing. Then she was saying it all last night because we kept asking her where spongebob was, or who's spongebob, etc. So, she's not as vocal as a lot of kids, I think because she relies more on expression and hand guestures to get what she wants, but we're up to "momma" "dadda" "more" which comes out like mo mo mo... hehe. She'll say "up" once in a while, "duck" and "spongebob"... She might be trying to say more words by now, maybe we're just not catching what she's saying yet. We definately know she's understanding us more and more everyday though. It's amazing how when we'll say something, like "where's the kitty?" or "look at what's on tv!" or "get the ball!", how fast she reacts and in the right way no less. I swear she's a little sponge herself. :D
