I knew that we were going to be on the plane and in airports all day on Halloween, so I really wanted Carlee to get to "trick or treat" before we left Texas. So, I got her all dressed up in her scary skeleton costume, and we went outside my mom's house. I showed her how to walk up to the door, ring the doorbell, and say, "TRICK OR TREAT!" I had bought candy in advance so that my family had something to give her. She ended up doing the routine about 50 times LOL She had a blast, it was so fun to see her do this. Coloring Easter Eggs & Pic with the Easter Bunny

Mineo Christmas Party

Today we went to our neighborhood's Christmas party. There was no wait for pictures when we got there, so Carlee got to go right away. She was unsure the whole time, pretty much like yesterday, but at least she didn't cry. :)
This is Carlee and her best friend Eain. They play on an almost daily basis. They are only 4 days apart in age. It's so funny to watch them play together, they're too cute.
Carlee had a lot of fun. She was always carrying around a cookie, chasing Eain, or dancing. Here we had just been dancing, then she took off for Daddy.

First Pictures with Santa

Here she is! With Santa!!! We were originally just going to go to the Mineo Santa pictures tomorrow, but since Carlee has two beautiful Christmas dresses, I said why not go to both? So, today we drove to the main base for their pictures. We waited in line for what seemed like forever (really only an hour), and finally plopped Carlee down on Santa's lap. She was a little unsure, but at least she didn't scream or cry like a lot of other kids. I had her waving and smiling at Santa while we waited in the line, and then asked her if she wanted to give Santa a hug and kiss. So, she seemed not so scared. She did good though, we were glad. This is the picture we took with our camera and took to the photo lab to get a few printed out.

Christmas-y Picture... (?)

We were getting ready to go to a Christmas Dinner at a friend's house, when I decided I wanted a picture of Carlee and me since we were matching... Well, she posed for this one, then we realized I was we were in front of the tv, so we tried again, but Carlee started fussing, so this was all we got. lol

Putting up the Christmas Tree

So on the 28th, only a few days after being back from Tuscany, we put up the Christmas tree and decorations. Carlee loved helping. I wish I could have caught the look on her face when we turned on the lights for the first time. It was pure surprise and delight. We are so excited about Christmas this year. We can't wait to see Carlee open her presents. :D

Happy Halloween!!!

First on Halloween we went to the Mom's Club Halloween lunch party. Carlee had lots of fun playing with everyone, and of course constantly was carrying around food. lol.

Then at night time we went trick or treating. Carlee wasn't too into it, but much more than last year obviously. hehe. She liked going up to people and getting candy, and kept trying to grab more out of the basket. lol Then she would run to our friend Brent for a free ride, he was carrying her around like a little princess. Daddy was having the most fun walking around the streets scaring everyone. LOL Carlee had fun though, and got quite tired out. It was a great Halloween. :D

Christmas Presents to Mommy and Daddy

Carlee gave us our Christmas presents one day early!!! On Christmas Eve day she CRAWLED!!! for the first time!!! we were so excited!!! and then, later that night she was really fussy so I put some medicine on her gums, and what did I feel? Her FIRST tooth!!! yay!!! What a memorable first Christmas!

Christmas!!!

Sorry, I don't have a scanner, so I had to take pictures of the pictures... lol... anywho, she was SO GOOD! :D My favorite is the Santa one, though we got more of the one with the Christmas tree because that was the one for the package deal... On the santa on, right after she took the picture, she looked behind her and got scared! lol... she started crying. It was too cute. She did really good though. :)
